From Tessin and Italy we suggest that you travel over the Simplon Pass. The pass road is very well built with double lanes on the Swiss side. On your way an unique stop in the Simplon village is the  Eco Museum, it's well worth the visit.

Use Brig as your exit  and then "Brig Zentrum"  to guide you di-rectly to the Schlosshotel Art Furrer.

In less than two hours travel time (via the Simplon Pass) from the hotel you can be in the picturesque Italien city of Stresa which lies on the Maggiore lake.
